You know something is happening.
You just don't have the full picture yet.

You've found the language — emotional unavailability, overfunctioning, the anxious-avoidant dynamic. You understand, at least intellectually, what's going on.

But understanding the surface of the pattern is different from understanding its full arc — where it came from, why it runs the way it does, what the stages of healing actually look like, and what the work asks of you at each one.

The 7 Stages of Healing gives you the complete map. Not as motivation or as healing content — as a precise psychological framework, taught by a marriage and family therapist with nearly two decades of study in Bowen Family Systems Theory, Jungian relational psychology, and ego development.

This is not a self-help lecture. This is a theory lecture — delivered in language you can actually use to understand yourself at the root.

The complete arc of this journey —
all seven stages, fully taught.

1
The Attraction
Passion, closeness, genuine connection.
Why the chemistry is real — and why two people with complementary wounds find each other. Repetition compulsion and the nervous system's unconscious pull toward the familiar wound.
2
The Emergence
Patterns surface. She begins to lose herself.
How self-erosion happens gradually, invisibly. The overfunctioning pattern — explaining, pursuing, managing — and what it costs before she fully notices.
3
The Awakening
She finds the language. She seeks answers.
Finding the framework. Trying therapy, having the conversations, attempting to get him to see the pattern. The gap between understanding and being able to change.
4
The Breaking Point
Nothing is enough on his side.
Why progress triggers regression — because closeness activates his intimacy avoidance. Hitting a limit she didn't know she had. The recognition that the lever was never on his side.
5
The Reclamation
She truly turns toward herself for the first time.
The hardest and longest stage. Pattern interruptions, nervous system work, pulling back energy, and the slow return to her own creative life, body, and inner world.
6
The Rebuilding
Her center of gravity roots in herself.
No longer organized around him. Rebuilding her creative work, finances, body, and friendships. Discovering who she actually is when she's not managing someone else's emotional world.
7
The Becoming
She chooses from wholeness, not from hunger.
Emotional sovereignty as a lived experience. Inner union. Attracting what treats her as she treats herself. The healing that reverberates through her lineage.
